The minimum donation amount is €5,-

Why a minimum? For amounts below €5,-, the costs of various parties we work with (e.g. banks, the various payment methods including PayPal and Credit Card , PSPs, tax authorities, etc.) are so high that it would not be worthwhile for both the fundraiser (organisor) as well as the platform to accept amounts below €5,-.
